"Economic Policy and Income Inequalities in Post-socialist Countries"

Abstract

Goal of the lecture is to analyze economic policy in transition countries from the point of view dynamics and structure of incomes in the economy. Transition to market economy as process has an impact on dynamics and structure of incomes but non less important is economic policy. The most important, from the point of view of inequalities, are few spheres of economic policy: economic stabilization, privatization policy, role of the state in the economy.
