May 16th 2019: Strategy for Poland. A Quarter of century later Conference
on the conditions and development perspectives of the Polish economy.
The pretext for the organization of the conference is the 25th
anniversary of the preparation of the “Strategy for Poland”, the
program which was a key set of reforms implemented in 1994-97.
The
conference begins with the opening speech by the Minister of Investment
and Development, Mr. Jerzy Kwieciński. Special comment will be
delivered by Mr. Aleksander Kwaśniewski, President of Poland in
1995-2005. During the conference the
prominent Polish economists, which, along with their scientific work,
have very rich experience in public life, will present their research
papers.
On this occasion, the PWN Publishing House publishes a
book edited by Grzegorz W. Kolodko and Jacek Tomkiewicz, which presents
texts prepared especially for the conference.
