published the paperback edition of the new book by Professor
Grzegorz W. Kolodko entitled „Whither the World: The
Political Economy of the Future”. The work, released in two parts, Vol.
I and Vol.

of Janos Kornai thoughts” dedicated to the 90th birthday of Janos
Kornai, a great scholar and world renowned economist. We congratulate

Professor Grzegorz W. Kolodko
begins his this year's global scientific activity with a special
seminar for an international group of doctoral students of the Corvinus
University in Budapest. The title of the seminar is "Globalization,
Crisis and What Next?".

research on various aspects of contemporary Europe. Dr Jacek Tomkiewicz
